The story that I got as these were made by a WWII veteran in about 1966 for boys headed for Vietnam. His only identifing mark is Roy E. and he supposedly made a number of knives for soldiers headed for Vietnam. These were purchased in or about 1966 and never used. All of the knife blades were made from heavy duty files. Outstanding craftsmanship in every way. Absolutely beautiful knives and very hard to find same maker vintage knives like this. Specs are for the largest knife(dagger): *BLADE: 5/32" thick, 11 7/8" long, beautifully ground blade, very sharp *OVERALL LENGTH: 17" *HANDLE: Brass, black bakelite, leather multi-spacers (the two others have aluminum) *FITTINGS: Nickel silver guard, brass butt *CONDITION: Very-Fine to excellent/unused, knives shows no use but but has the normal storage wear including some light carbon spots, knives are solid and tight,   ~Grading Scale: poor, good, very-good, fine, very-fine, excellent, mint(I rarely grade anything as mint)~  ********************************************************************** We would like payment to be made via paypal within 7 days.
