The species is a DOUGLAS FIR. It has a heart, and has great grain. The colors are white, brown, tan, and gray. The measurements are 8 x 7 1/2 x 1/2 thickness. This round is of outstanding quality, it is the best that you see among our wood. It has great cell structure along with a heart. It is just a Fantastic collector's piece. We RARELY find such Fabulous pieces such as this Fir. The petrified wood from the Vantage area is about 15 million years old. Buyer pays shipping costs. We do ship WOLRDWIDE.
