This piece is VERY RARE. It is all opalized and is very soft petrified wood. It has a heart in the center of the tree. The colors are tan, white, brown. It has a nice very nice outside edge. We have many different types of pictures of this piece to give you an idea of what you are looking at. The petrified wood from Vantage Washington is famous for the wide variety of trees that were found in the Ginkgo Petrified Forest area. This Gum tree is about 15 million years old.  It measures at 7 1/2  inches x 8 1/2  inches x 5 inches tall. 13 lbs. This piece is has a wedge shape that tapers off from 5 to 3 inches in thickness.  We do our own contouring/cutting and polishing of our pieces.
