Description
Description Offering a beautiful antique Japanese pin or trinket dish. This dates from the very early 1900's and was made in Japan. The porcelain dish measures just under 4" in diameter and 2 1/2" in height. The inside is white and the outside is covered with a hand painted picture featuring a Geisha getting dressed with her attendant - servant in the background. The hand painting has been touched with raised enamel accenting and 24K gold. This dish has no cracks or stains. The inside lip of the bowl has two tiny flea bites underneath the lip. They are flat and almost unseen. The bottom stamp has the characters in gold over a red brush stroke.
