They have been completely restored. The barrel (numbered roller) is all orginial. The weights and glass are also orginial. The blue color I don't believe is orginial. We have had the scales for eleven years, we actully weighed our 1st child on them for serveral months. The Computing Scale Company was in Ohio and later bought by IBM. I believe these scales would have been used in a general store, for veggies, fruits, nuts, candies, and meats. The mirror above the scales are very rare.
