The Bronze Tree Trunk Base carrying intricate roots at its base and extended arms which are cast as tree branches  and used to hold up the Chunk Jeweled Shade. The Shade is unreal as well. It is composed of the finest Jeweled and Jeweled Opalescent Chunks of Glass which the Lamps designer used to achieve a Magnificent warm colored feel. Folks It really is the tops..I've yet to see any nicer and have handled many Austrian Lamps. This Unique Base is really a masterwork sculpture in Bronze and is only one of the unusual beauties this lamp displays. There are also bronze figural trees along the skirts perimeter and on the inside of the skirt the Original Late 19th or Early 20thC Material is still in place as is the fringe and in great condition.Everything is original and I find that entire lamp is in great shape throughout. I could go on but Please take your time viewing the pictures. The Lamp stands an impressive 26" high and the shade is 16" in diameter which is quite large for an Austrian Lamp.
