Markings inside of compact are 800 and a hallmark stamp that is hard to read. It also reads Coppini & Co. Compact has original powder netting piece. It is all hand etched and quite beautiful. The compact appears to have a goldish wash, especially in the inside. The mirror is a pretty beveled glass. It measures a little over 3 1/4 " wide x 2 1/2 long.  Upon close inspection there appears to be a small darkish spot to one of the turquoise areas, I dont know if it was manufactured this way or because of its age.  But by no means detracts from its beauty..I just like to mention anything I see.  A great addition to your collection or that very special gift!!   I do not clean my merchandise.
