This Antique Bike is from The 1920's and has a head Badge that Says ATHLETE. This Bike was Manufactured By DP Harris also Known as Rollfast. At this time I do not Know who Sold the Athlete brand bikes. Wonderful Old Bike Restored as Found with Patina intact. This is a Early Motor Bike Style Bicycle. ATHLETE Head Badge. Metal Covered Wooden Rims with New Departure Hubs. The Wheels are 28"x 1 1/2" and take a Tubular Tube and tire in one. These Tires are Solid , Excellent for show. This Bike is Rebuilt, Cleaned, and Sealed. This Bicycle would Be Perfect For Conversation or Decor. The Bike is Ride able able but would need Some Tubular Tires, (Cyclocross Tubular tires work) Hubs are rebuilt but the wooden wheels are off true and Probably Need to be Respoked ( Bikes Patina would be compromised with new spokes. ) Happy Bidding!
