I estimate this box was made late 19th Century or beginning of 20th Century. The enamel is in very good condition. It has nice gold tone patina with ornate  work also in very good condition. This piece has it's beveled mirror intact and is in excellent condition. The hinge is in good working order. There is some powder residue still in the lower half of the compact.  This piece has not been cleaned or polished. You will be very pleased.
