Description
Emerson 12" Brass Cage/Brass Blades Stationary Fan One of Emerson's most highly sought after "series" of fans is their 19--- series. Up for bid is a 19646(circa 1913). Notice the classic yoke and the "step" base that creates the beautiful " line" of the fan--- creating great popularity with collectors. The cast iron hub brass Parker blade( patent date of Sept. 12, 1899 stamped on ) is highly polished, aligned perfectly, and is virtually flawless except for a very small repaired nick on the edge of one blade. The fan is beautifully restored, highly collectible/useable and has the durability/quality of early Emerson brass blade/cage fans. It runs extremely smooth and quiet on all three speeds and has that stunning/impressive look of a " brass on brass" fan. Truly, this restored 19646 up for bid is priced at a bargain and will be a great addition to your collection. The restoration includes lubrication ofoscillator gears, cleaning and oiling of bearings, alignment and high polishing of brass blades and cage, painting with black professional grade enamel topped with a lacquered surfacefor durability, integrity of motor windings verified, replacement of head wires, and is assembled withnew cord and antique plug. Any and all questions welcome! Happy Biddding
