Description Emerson 12"  6 Blade Brass Oscillating Fan  This beautifully restored, highly prized and collectible Emerson 24666 is circa 1916 .  Six blade fans were produced primarily for the residential market and were " high end" in style and price. Also,  they were quieter because there was less space between the blades and the motor ran at lower RPM's. This particular 24666 up for bid has been upgraded with a next generation highly polished  Improved Parker Blade.  It runs great on all three speeds and has that striking appearance of a 6 blade brass fan. Certainly, this Emerson will be a great addition to your collection. (Recently, after purchasing one of our fans, a customer commented that the fan was so much more impressive in person-- the same  applies to this fan!) The restoration includes lubrication ofoscillator gears, cleaning and oiling of bearings, alignment and high polishing of brass blades, painting with black professional grade enamel topped with a lacquered  surfacefor durability, integrity of motor windings verified, replacement of head wires,  and is assembled withnew cord and antique plug.
