The set is beautiful faux tortoise (celluloid) composition, as best I can determine, probably circa 1910-1925.  There are five pieces with intricate carvings in a dragon motif that simply took my breath away!!   I purchased this scale from one of my favorite English shippers, acquiring it from a family estate in northern England, and 1910-1925 dating is consistent with other items from the estate.   All of my antiques are hand selected, utilizing premier European shippers with years of experience.  I do not purchase in bulk, but prefer to individually purchase the items, with each piece selected for its unique characteristics and quality.   There are twelve pieces that include: Carved dragon and beveled hand mirror (clear reflection, no chips); Carved dragon oval handled hair brush (wood base, bristles very good); Carved dragon large brush (wood base, bristles show some use); Carved dragon oval lidded dish (a darker tortoise colour); Carved dragon round lidded dish (a darker tortoise colour); Rimmed soap dish; Shoe horn; Large comb (all teeth are there!!); Nail buffer (mildly used); Nail file, black celluloid (has rust on file); Button hook, black celluloid; Glove Stretcher, black celluloid. The case has a grey toned covering and lovely white satin-type lined interior,  Although some signs of age, it is in remarkable condition, no major rips, tears, or damage.   Measurements: Case is 20 ½” x 12” x 2 ½”.   Condition: The condition is described above, and please also note photos. I would definitely consider everything to be in good to better than normal condition, with age appropriate wear, but overall minimal signs of use.
