Inside the case is a card that reads "Twin sisters of Eliz. Sargent Bisbee / Ethelyn - left Lillian - right" in my Aunt Miriam's handwrighting. The lined case is somewhat tattered, but the contents are superbly preserved. The gilt frame has a delicate floral motif and measures exactly 2" by 2 1/2" and both it and the image inside are in immaculate condition. There is a little bit of dust that can be seen in the photos that I did not try to remove, as I did not want to do anything to the surface of the image. The lined case is somewhat tattered.
