On January 3, 1986 Arkansas celebrated the First Day Issue of a USPS Stamp honoring the 150th anniversary of Arkansas Statehood with WILLIAM J. "BILL" CLINTON in attendance and a ceremony speaker.  Two of the First Day Ceremony documents shown below are signed by then Governor Bill Clinton.  Photo #3 shows a close-up of Bill Clinton's signature,  with Roger Carlisle, and Orval E. Faubus signatures below his.  Photo #6 shows a close-up of Bill Clinton's signature at bottom of photo. Item 1. Ceremonies Program: (photos 1, 2, & 3) is signed by "BILL CLINTON"; "Tom Dillard", President of the Arkansas Sesquicentennial Commission; "Roger Carlisle", Designer of Stamp; "Orval E. Faubus", Past Governor of Arkansas; "John Paul Hammerschmidt", US House of Representatives; "Dale Bumpers", US Senator and former Governor of Arkansas; "Eugene C. Hagburg", Assistant US Postmaster General; "Don C. Jones", Postmaster, Little Rock; "Louis L. Ramsey, Jr., General Chairman, Arkansas Sesquicentennial Commission; and six other dignitaries that were present.  The Statehood Program includes 22 cent Arkansas Statehood Stamp postmarked Little Rock, Arkansas, January 3, 1986, First Day of Issue, in Very Fine condition. Item 2. Invitation by The Arkansas Sesquicentennial Commission: (photos 4, 5, & 6) is signed by "BILL CLINTON"; "Louis L. Ramsey, Jr.", General Chairman, Arkansas Sesquicentennial Commission; and "Tom W. Dillard", President, Arkansas Sesquicentennial Commission.  The invitation includes 22 cent Arkansas Statehood Stamp postmarked Little Rock, Arkansas, January 3, 1986, First Day of Issue, in Very Fine condition. Item 3. Invitation by The Postmaster General to Ceremony: (photo 7) is signed by "Eugene C. Hagburg", Assistant US Postmaster General; and "Don C. Jones", Postmaster, Little Rock, Arkansas.  Included on Invitation is 22 cent Arkansas Statehood Stamp postmarked Little Rock, Arkansas, January 3, 1986, First Day of Issue, in Very Fine condition. Item 4. Arkansas Sesquicentennial 1836-1986 Vinyl Folder: (photos 8, 9, & 10) includes bronze seal of The State of Arkansas, and official First Day Cover with 22 cent Arkansas Statehood Stamp postmarked Little Rock, Arkansas, January 3, 1986, First Day of Issue, in Very Fine condition.  FDC is signed by "Eugene C. Hagburg", Assistant US Postmaster General.
