Beautiful Boro Lampwork Bead pen & Letter Opener OOAK Start Price USD 89.00 Current Price USD 89.00 Time Left - Bid Count 0 Buy It Now Price USD 95.00 Reserve Price - Start Time Tuesday, November 25, 2008 End Time Friday, December 05, 2008 Location Silver Springs, PA See more about 'Beautiful Boro Lampwork Bead pen & Letter Opener OOAK' Description  I made this beautiful pen and letter opener set using lampwork beads that I purchased from one of the many talented lampwork artist here on ebay.  The boro lampwork glass beads in this set are stunning.   I tried to capture the beauty in the photos, but I just couldn't....these are ones you just have to see in person.  I accented the lampwork beads with various silver metal beads that really set off the boro beads.  The pen and letter opener are constructed on a shinny silver metal base.   The end cap screws on, but I have also glued it closed to secure the beads even more.  The pen is approx. 6 inches long - the letter opener about 7 1/4 inches long, and the pen point opens and closes by turning the pen in opposite directions at the bottom near the metal ring - very easy (do not try to open and close the pen at the top).  This unique pen makes a wonderful gift for that hard to shop for person on your list (like a boss, secretary, co-worker, pen collector, or just that person who loves the unusual one of a kind items), and it will come to you wrapped securely in a gift box.   Note:  I also have pen refills available if you are interested....I know I have blue ink, but I might have black somewhere too.  Also, you can find the ink refills online and possibly in your local craft stores.
