This piece is French and handcrafted in pewter. The holder, pen and inkwell is composed of pewter with inlay. I do not believe this set was ever used. There is no wear on the inkbottle and I do not believe ink was ever used inside the bottle. The pen is marked on the verso Made In France. The The holder is marked Pewter Etain Zinn on the verso with Etain 94% Made In France. The condition of everything is excellent excet the tip of the ink pen may need replacing.
