Designed by Eliav Nissan Sterling Silver & Gold Plated Height: 9 5/8" Glass Rim Diameters: 3 3/8" Granite Base Dimensions: 6 1/4"x 3 1/2" Date: 1996 This exquisite glass is beautifully made with coiling stems of substantial sterling silver tube and 13 gold plated discs.  The glass bowls are removable and made of hand blown spiraling glass epoxyed into sterling silver cones that sit snuggly into to the stems.  Where the cones sit the silver is tapped so that the top two gold coils screw into the stem.  Two of the other gold coils are free to slide on the tubing.  All these elements are indicative of Nissan's elegant style. A second base of polished black granite with broken/flamed edges was added with a 1/4" float between the brushed silver base and another 1/4" float above the table top created with 6 titan2ium pins and cylinders.  Eliav Nissan is a renowned designer of furniture and precious objects that he calls "art with function". He was commissioned for this glass in the 1996 by Carillon Importers, distributor of Bombay Sapphire, to create a glass to be used in print advertisements for the "Pour Something Priceless" campaign.  He has also created furniture for Absolut Vodka campaign.
