This piece has got to be seen in person to be believed. We acquired it in New York City 13 years ago in 1995. We had been fans of Achilleos work for many years and were surprised when we came across the piece in an Art Gallery. In all the years we had collected Fantasy and Pin-up Art, we have never see another, other then this one being offered here on eBay for the first time. The condition on the piece is as shown. We very carefully had it shipped to California in a wood crate and ever since we acquired it, we have taken wonderful care of the piece. There is some oxidization on the base at the weld-seam which could be easily touched up. If the buyer choses to do so. The casting work is excellent as you can see. It has area's that appear to be on the level of the finest art Gallery and then in other areas there are imperfections ( as shown ). We think this was inspired by the painting "Celtic Queen" however there are differences to this piece, if you refer to the painting. So it may be a very limited edition.
