It was made in very limited quantities. In fact I've never seen another one. The Pickman’s Model creature, was sculpted by Oscar winning special effects guru, John Chambers for  the “Pickman’s Model” episode of the Rod Sterling’s series, “Night Gallery”.  The creature earned Chambers and his crew an Emmy nomination for  “Outstanding Achievement in Make-Up", and is probably the most memorable creature from the series.This mask is on consignment from the William Malone collection, former Vice President of Don Post Studio’s. The mask was a gift to Malone from Ed Edmonds owner of Distortions Unlimited who bought the license to Malone’s “Syngenor” monster. It was made in 1982 from a casting from the original John Chambers Universal Studios mold. It is covered in wool crepe hair and only shows a very slight cracking around the eyes.  This mask has never been worn , the original tag is still attached and is as close as you'll get to a new one. The mask comes with a letter of authenticity from William Malone stating it's origin. Place a Bid!
