The cabinet has been expertly refinished with the correct lacquer toners and highest quality lacquer. It has been hand sanded and hand rubbed for a stunning and beautiful finish.The chrome chassis is in excellent condition with the chrome being a 9 out of 10. Note, the chassis has not been electronically restored but is all there and surely can be done by someone with the proper skills. The power supply chrome is very presentable but not as nice as the chassis. When I bought this radio all of the tubes in the power supply were missing. I have put in 4 BRAND NEW old stock 2A3's and 1 BRAND NEW 5Z3. Used 2A3's sell for about $75 each so brand new old stock ones would have to be worth considerably more. There is still one tube missing. It is an 83V which I did not have.The grille cloth is an exact reproduction of the original. This cloth was produced in limited quantities about 10 years ago and is no longer available. It is far superior to the current reproduction cloth which has too much maroon in it.This is a beautiful radio to complement your collection.Pick up only please as this is a very heavy radio.
