Description
"Vigne" is the 1st of the Erte Courvoisier cognac bottle in the series, new in box with unbroken seal, complete with original booklet around its neck and original certificate. Certificate # H7201. The bottle measures 10" high (750ml). This collection has been created in collaboration with Erté (famous Art Deco Master in France and USA) who designed 7 carafes representing 7 steps of the cognac-making process: Vine, Harvest, Distillation, Aging, Tasting, Spirit of Cognac, Angels' share. Each bottle has been produced in 12000 units (numbered). One bottle was launched every year between 1988 and 1994. The cognac in each decanter is consists of a rare blend using the finest cognacs exclusively from the Grande Champagne area, with the oldest dating back to 1892, the year Erté was born. Erte's remarkable career spanned nearly 80 years. He died in 1990 at the age of 97. This is an amazing rare limited edition Courvoisier decanter series. They have been handcrafted utilizing traditional skills and fine materials such as 24-carat gold rare color pigments.
