1 Huge Heller Drums Bells & More Cylinder Music Box 1870 It is really huge – almost 3 feet long its weight is app. 25 kg! Enormous – is the good word to describe this monster. I never have seen anything like this before. Advertisement sheet says: J.H.Heller in Bern Trommel, Glockenspiel & Castagnetten List of 12 tunes/melodies and printed names of composers. Box has got several problems: few teeth are damaged; finish needs retouch; winding drum/spring lost its stopper: when you pull lever – it rotates cylinder directly. – These are basically not serious problems for one who used to take care of musical boxes, especially because all original parts are here! This item was purchased as it appears now at auction house and likely wasn’t ever repaired since original make. Creation Year: ca 1870-1880 Size: 29 cm high 35,8 cm deep 87 cm long cylinder is app.56 cm (22 inches) long Weight: app. 25 kg (30+ kg packed) Inscription: serial 6662 repeated at numerous parts as well brand name at brass parts.
