Painting has been beautifully rendered with crisp details.  The bottom and sides have fancy baroque engraving of swirls and gilt finish inside and out.  The compartment that held the lipstick Has a turquoise colored cabochon that slides out and releases a spring the “opens” the case to reveal a small rectangular mirror.  The only markings on this item is “Made in Italy.”  Please Note: I'm having trouble photographing this item without getting glare from the flash.  These images were taken without flash and look darker than the original item.  If I manage to correct this problem, I post new images soon.    Dimensions: 2in. L X .60 W X .75 H   Condition:  Excellent used condition: gilt in good condition; perfect mirror, no scratches of chips to enamel.  Enamel feels smooth to the touch.  No dents or other damage.  Please view my images and email me if you have any questions.  Check out my other auctions.
