Description
Up for your bidding consideration is this very fine lost wax (cire perdue) bronze moose sculpture by well listed master wildlife sculptor Daniel Parker. This piece, cast from the original model created in 1981, shows a very large bull moose with awesome antlers trudging across a fallen log. This sculpture has robust size, measuring 9 inches high, and that height does not include the nice solid walnut plinth. It is signed by Montana artist Daniel Parker to the base of the bronze and is from a small limited edition of only 100 strikes, very few of which are left to sell before the mold will be destroyed. In Canada these animals, as well as caribou, are highly revered. I've been told that caribou stew is quite tasty but I've never had the opportunity to try it. Perhaps I will when the Winter Olympics are contested in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada in 2010. And speaking of Canada, we will ship to that country. Your satisfaction is guaranteed or your money back. My stock photo does little justice to this moose piece which is very impressive indeed. We have a low start price on this outstanding artwork. Check Askart, Davenport, Art Price and other sources for prices on Daniel Parker bronzes sold at auctions around the country. See my other items for sale here on eBay. I have several other wonderful museum quality wildlife bronzes up for bid at attractive prices.
